2010 FIFA World Cup™ round-up
The curtain's come down on the greatest show on Earth, so it's time to take a look back at some of the highlights from Hyundai's FIFA World Cup™ activity.
Now in our tenth year as an Official Partner, we were proud to keep the ball rolling by bringing the teams and officials to the stadia in our role as transportation provider.
And a little closer to home, we celebrated the FIFA World Cup™ by holding Hyundai Fan Parks in Manchester and Bristol, where fans watched the matches LIVE on big screens in a family-friendly atmosphere.
If you watched any of the matches on ITV, you would have seen our World Championship idents. They feature a world-beating line-up of Hyundai i30s in international team colours, competing against each other with a giant football. You may have even played our Facebook ident World Championship competition to win a Premiership Football shirt.
We also put together a selection of competitions to help bring you, your friends and families together.
Well done to Helen Rathbone, who won our 'Be There with Hyundai' competition. She created the slogan 'Playing with pride and glory' for the England team bus, which carried the players to and from the games during the tournament. As reward for her efforts, Helen won a brand new Hyundai i10. Shame her slogan wasn't enough to inspire the team to victory!
Congratulations go to Emma Holder too, who won a weekend in a luxury mansion with her friends and family in our 'WAG Manor' Facebook competition.
Congratulations also to the three winners below for winning our 'What Would You Trade?' Facebook competition to win tickets to the FIFA World Cup™ final:
• Graham Barley: traded his Dignity by dressing as Don Fabio Capello until England win the FIFA World Cup™ to earn his trip to the World Cup Final.
• Marvin Tucker: traded his daughter's tooth instead of giving it to the Tooth Fairy for his FIFA World Cup™ Final tickets.
• Graeme Johnston: traded all the football shirts he has owned since he was six years old to win his trip to the FIFA World Cup™ Final
And finally, Manmeet Auluck and Joshua Payne won semi-final tickets for voting for their favourite 'What Would You Trade?' videos. Well done to you too!
You can take a look at the photos from 'WAG Manor' and watch the 'What Would You Trade?' videos on our Facebook page.
